Psalms Resisting temptation against jealousy

It should be recited if you feel a force within you that would want to push you to harm (physically or morally) someone around you.
It can also happen that you are jealous of someone who deserves all the good things that happen to him: in this case too Psalm 6 works wonders.

Recite this Psalm aloud, but not more than once a day. But before you recite it, think strongly about the person. For example, close your eyes and try to visualize the person's face. Say this Psalm without anger or resentment.

Psalm 6

6.1
(6:1) To the chief singer. With stringed instruments. On the eight-string harp. Psalm of David. (6:2) Don't punish me, O LORD, in your anger, And don't punish me in your wrath.
6.3
(6:2) Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am without strength: Heal me, O LORD, for my bones are shaken.
6.4
(6:4) My soul is all troubled, But how long hast thou, O LORD, and how long?
6.5
(6:5) Return, O LORD, deliver my soul. Save me for your lovingkindness's sake.
6.6
(6:6) For he who dies has no more memory of you. Who will praise you in Sheol?
6.7
(6:7) I am weary with my groaning; My bed is wet with my tears every night; My bed is watered with my weeping.
6.8
(6:8) My face is worn out with sorrow: all they that persecute me make it old.
6.9
(6:9) Depart from me, all you that do evil. For the LORD hears the voice of my tears;
6.10
(6:10) The LORD hearkens to my supplications; The LORD accepts my prayer.
6.11
(6:11) All my enemies are put to shame and confounded; They are turned back suddenly with shame.

Psalms

There are 150 psalms in the Bible and they are attributed to King David. According to some beliefs, each psalm has a key, a secret, which, when used with the psalm, can solve a specific problem.

In the Koran, the Book of Psalms is called the Zabur.

Human beings are in a constant struggle on all levels against the forces of darkness, against the elements of nature and against their fellow human beings.

The psalms can be used by humans in this perpetual struggle against the forces of evil. With the psalms we can praise God, ask for the prosperity of the earth's goods, implore graces and blessings, ask for protection against enemies, defeat enemies, cure physical and spiritual illnesses, ask for help in court trials, for good luck, to ask for God's help in all circumstances, against fire, storms, storms, to have a good journey, etc.

It is important to know, as in everything we can undertake, to have FAITH. For FAITH lifts mountains. With faith, everything can succeed, whatever the obstacles.

Resisting temptation

The road to God is far from being a long, quiet river. It is strewn with all kinds of pitfalls, including temptations. All those who are spiritually inclined know something about this.

Every day, the attacks of the evil one, who acts through thoughts or our fellow men, are without respite. Awake or asleep, temptations come from all sides. Fortunately, prayer is a powerful weapon through which God acts in our lives, to prevent us from succumbing to the traps of the evil one and his minions.

It sometimes happens that we fall, that we succumb to temptations, but the essential thing is to get up again and to take steps to avoid falling victim to them.

We offer you prayers to help you in your fight against the forces of evil that want and seek the downfall of mankind, through the keyword "RESIST THE TENTATIONS". With these prayers, arm yourself to resist the many temptations that stand in your way, the way of salvation, the way that leads to God.

against jealousy

Jealousy is one of the most devastating scourges, a source of conflict and unhappiness among human beings. Jealousy is an unhealthy passion in which some people take pleasure, bathe in it constantly and take it as a life goal.

Every sincere human being will tell you that he or she has ever been jealous. The difference between human beings in relation to jealousy is that, while some are carried away by it, others resist it and always push it away from them as soon as it arises, for example by adopting a healthy way of thinking.

Every true Christian resists jealousy and does not let it lead him. To be jealous for a true Christian is to put God on trial. It is God who gives each person sent to earth gifts, talents and all that is necessary to carry out their mission. When one commits oneself to allowing oneself to be invaded by jealousy, one is not only hurting oneself, but one is not sharing with the world, with society, what one has received from the Creator.

Some manifestations of jealousy

  • If you recognise yourself in these few examples, it would be important and life-saving for you to get rid of this unhealthy feeling.
  • If you envy or are jealous of the happiness, possessions, successes, qualities of others.
  • If you are joyful, if you revel in the misfortunes, miseries, setbacks etc. of others.
  • If you like to invent stories or distort facts by "spicing them up in your own way" with the aim of slandering, speaking ill of others.
  • If you are always trying to compare yourself to someone you know deep down is talented and/or exceeds you.

Knowing that we are on earth and that it would be utopian to think that all human beings would suddenly turn into benevolent beings, one should be careful and take into account that there will always be jealous people. There are effective prayers to preserve oneself from jealousy. touteslesprieres.com gathers through the keywords "against jealousy", all the prayers that can be useful against jealous people and the manifestations of these jealousies.
