Prayer of Solomon model for Heads of State, Judges and all those who have power

God of the fathers and merciful Lord who made the universe by your word, formed man by your wisdom so that he may rule over the creatures called by you into existence, that he rule the world with piety and justice, and render his judgments with righteousness of soul, give me the Wisdom which divides your throne and does not exclude me from the number of your children.

See, I am your servant and the son of your servant, a weak man whose life is short, very helpless in the understanding of law and laws.
Moreover, even if anyone were perfect among the sons of men, without the Wisdom that comes from you, he will be counted for nothing.
It was you who preferred me to be king over your people, judge over your sons and daughters.
You commanded me to build a Temple on your holy mountain and an altar in the city where you made your dwelling, in imitation of the holy tent which you had prepared from the beginning.

Close to you stands Wisdom who knows your works, and who was present when you created the world.
She knows what is pleasing to you, what is right according to your commandments.
Send her down from the holy heavens, from the throne of your glory, deign to send her, so that she may suffer by my side and that I may know what pleases you.
She who knows and understands everything, she will guide me in my conduct with measure and she will protect me with her glory.
In this way my deeds may be accepted, I will judge your people with righteousness and be worthy of my father's throne.
