Saint Jude (or Judas Thaddaeus) is a very popular apostle because of the multitude of protections he grants. Revered at all times and in almost every country, he is the advocate par excellence of desperate causes.
It is said that Saint Bernard always carried relics of Saint Jude with him and was even buried with them.
Relics of Saint Jude were deposited in the church of Saint-Sernin in Toulouse.

INVOCATION:
Grant, Lord, to your faithful servants an unshakeable steadfastness in the faith, so that, honoring the memory of your apostle Saint Jude, they may obtain, through his intercession, the grace of reaching the kingdom of heaven; may he be, for all those who invoke him and recommend themselves to him, a powerful advocate, who helps them admirably in all their troubles. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Jude, whom the desperate have never invoked in vain, pray for us.

PRAYER:
O my Savior Jesus, Son of the living God! on the last day of your life, while you were tied to the cross, you spoke seven words, which you want me to remember always. Deign, I pray you, by the power of these divine words, forgive me all the mortal sins that I have committed out of pride, greed, impurity, envy, gluttony, laziness and anger, and all other sins that have resulted from this poisoned source. So be it.
