to be known by every good Christian
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ,
his only begotten Son, our Lord,
which was conceived of the Holy Spirit,
was born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified,
died and was buried,
has gone down to hell,
the third day is raised from the dead,
has ascended to heaven,
sits at the right hand of God
the Father Almighty,
from where he will come to judge the living
and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
to the Holy Catholic Church,
to the communion of saints,
to the remission of sins,
to the resurrection of the flesh,
to eternal life.
Amen.
