Psalms Distress spiritual warfare
01 From the singing master. On "the doe of dawn. "Psalm of David.
02 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? * Salvation is far from me, far from the words that I roar.
03 My God, I call all day long and you do not answer; * even at night I have no rest.
04 Yet you are holy, you who dwell in the hymns of Israel!
05 In you our fathers hoped, they hoped, and you delivered them.
06 When they cried out to you, they escaped; in you they hoped and were not disappointed.
07 And I am a worm, not a man, mocked by the people, rejected by the people.
08 All those who see me scorn me, they sneer and nod :
09 "He trusted in the Lord, that he would deliver him! Let him save him, for he is his friend! »
10 It was you who brought me out of my mother's womb, who made me safe in her arms.
11 I was entrusted to you from my birth. From the womb, you are my God.
12 Don't be far away: anguish is near; I have no one to help me.
13 Many wild beasts surround me, the bulls of Bashan surround me.
14 Lions tearing and roaring open their mouths against me.
15 I am like water spilling out, all my limbs dislocate. My heart is like wax, it melts in the midst of my entrails.
16 My vigor has dried up like clay. My tongue sticks to my palate. You lead me to the dust of death. +
17 Yes, dogs surround me, a band of scoundrels surround me. They pierce my hands and feet;
18 I can count all my bones. These people see me, they look at me. +
19 They divide my garments among themselves, and cast lots for my clothing.
20 But thou, O Lord, be not far off: O my strength, come quickly to my help.
21 Save my life from the sword, deliver me from the claws of the dog;
22 Save me from the lion's mouth and the buffalo's horn. You have answered me! +
23 I will proclaim your name before my brothers, I will praise you in the midst of the assembly.
24 You who fear him, give praise to the Lord, + give glory to him, all you descendants of Jacob, all you descendants of Israel.
25 For he has not rejected, neither has he reproved the afflicted in his misery; he has not hid his face from him, but he hears his complaint.
26 You will be my praise in the great assembly; before those who fear you I will keep my promises.
27 The poor will eat. They will be satisfied. They will praise the Lord, those who seek him. »
28 The whole earth will remember and return to the Lord, and every family of nations will worship him:
29 "Yes, to the Lord the kingdom, the power over the nations! »
30 All those who feasted bowed down. When they were promised to death, they bowed down before him.
31 And I live for him: my seed will serve him; the Lord will be preached to the generations to come.
32 His righteousness will be proclaimed to the people who are to be born: This is his work!

There are 150 psalms in the Bible and they are attributed to King David. According to some beliefs, each psalm has a key, a secret, which, when used with the psalm, can solve a specific problem.
In the Koran, the Book of Psalms is called the Zabur.
Human beings are in a constant struggle on all levels against the forces of darkness, against the elements of nature and against their fellow human beings.
The psalms can be used by humans in this perpetual struggle against the forces of evil. With the psalms we can praise God, ask for the prosperity of the earth's goods, implore graces and blessings, ask for protection against enemies, defeat enemies, cure physical and spiritual illnesses, ask for help in court trials, for good luck, to ask for God's help in all circumstances, against fire, storms, storms, to have a good journey, etc.
It is important to know, as in everything we can undertake, to have FAITH. For FAITH lifts mountains. With faith, everything can succeed, whatever the obstacles.
