Saint Rita inner healing healing physical illnesses
O sublime Saint Rita, whose devotion, readiness to intercede for us, and the power of your intervention are equalled only by your humility, accept in your immense goodness, to listen and to receive agreeably the prayer I am addressing to you to obtain the cure of : (name the person) whom the disease has struck. The goodness of God's love, like your generosity, is boundless.
You have given us many proofs of your compassion for those who suffer. Please take pity on the sufferings of : (name the person) and ask the Lord to grant him healing.
May your faith be heard, and may God the dispenser of miracles be sensitive to the request I am making through his faithful servant whose exemplary life has been one of prayer, generosity and sacrifice.
Saint Rita, listen to my prayer and bring my cry to the Lord.
I firmly believe that there is no power other than that of God, nor any power above that of God. Therefore, strengthened in my faith and grateful in advance to God for the grace he is willing to grant me through your intercession, I come before him with the burden of my own sins, begging him to forgive the one who suffers for the mistakes he has made in his life up to now.
O God, be merciful and forgive your children for the mistakes they have made in ignorance. In your great goodness do not hold them in contempt and allow their souls to evolve by sparing them suffering. Lord, through Saint Rita, may health return to the body of : (name the person).
O Blessed Saint Rita, whose steps are strewn with miracles, grant to : (name the person) the grace of healing.
Saint Rita, you know that nothing is impossible for God, for his power is limitless, as is his love for his creature. I beg and plead with you to ask God for the healing of : (name the person).
May the peace of the Lord descend into his heart, may life be renewed in his body, and may the powerful healing forces always available to those who have recourse to them and who ask for their application, be directed by the Grace of God to : (name the person).
May Light, Health, Peace, Strength and Balance be manifested for : (name the person) for the greater Glory of God.
Prayer: O God, admirable glorifier of men and women who have sacrificed their lives for the triumph of your kingdom, who made the Blessed Saint Rita, your servant, illustrious by her virtues and the prodigies she performed, grant us to celebrate worthily the merits of Saint Rita whom we invoke as our protector; we ask this through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son. Amen.
