Saint Rita
Your life of suffering, of apparent failure, of ardent prayer,
has made you the saint of desperate causes.
You did not withdraw into yourself in anguish and despair.
You turned to the Lord with great confidence.
With you, we entrust to our Heavenly Father and to his Son Jesus
our trials, our sorrows, our hopes.
Give us courage and patience.
Teach us to overcome our sorrows by relieving those of our brothers and sisters.
Help us to say, like you, the words of Jesus:
"Father, not my will but yours be done! ".
