Saint Liphard is invoked to be preserved or healed from the bite of snakes.
Legend has it that, near Orléans, in the 6th century, a monster, half dragon, half snake, caused unimaginable devastation and filled the inhabitants of the region with fear. It sowed terror and it was a veritable plague.
Saint Liphard obtained from God, through his fasts, prayers and merits, that the region be delivered from this monster. The inhabitants, at last at peace, were eternally grateful to him.

INVOCATION:
Lord, we offer you our prayers, so that through the intercession of Saint Liphard, you will grant us the help we need and the special protection we are asking for at this time to be delivered from any attack by poisonous beasts. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Liphard, who have a special grace to preserve from the bite of snakes, pray for us, who have recourse to you.

PRAYER:
Almighty and merciful Lord, lead us in the way of peace and prosperity. May your holy angel accompany us on our journey, so that we return to our home safe and sound, without any accident. So be it.
