to God Self-confidence Forgiveness
Oh my God,
don't reject me
as I have too often deserved,
because I want to amend!
I recognize that my life is like this
full of negligence cannot satisfy you;
I see it's myself
who by my warmth closes the door
to those graces that you would like to give me.
Lord, do not give up on me;
but continue to have pity on me,
who wants to raise me from such a miserable state.
I now want to be diligent
to tame my passions,
to follow your inspirations
instead of abandoning them out of lukewarmness,
to fulfill my duties more zealously.
I want, in a nutshell,
from now on do all I can
to please you,
and I don't want to neglect anything
that I will know how to please you.
You, my Jesus,
you were so lavish
of graces to me,
you enjoyed giving your life
and your blood for me,
he is ashamed
that I show myself so little
grateful to you.
Ah! you deserve all honor,
all love, and you also deserve
that we support with joy all the work,
all the sufferings to please you.
But, my Redeemer,
you know my weakness,
help me with your mighty hand.
I trust you.

To God, the being above all, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible with him. Whatever difficulties you find yourself in, trust in him, have faith. Pray to him and he will answer you.
