Psalms
Psalm 74
1 Poem. From Asaph. Why, O God, reject to the end, smoke with anger against the flock of your fold?
2 Remember your congregation, which you bought from the beginning, which you redeemed, tribe of your inheritance, and this Mount Zion where you made your dwelling.
3 Lift up your steps to this endless chaos he has sacked everything, the enemy, in the sanctuary;
4 In the place of your assemblies your adversaries have roared; they have put their badges on the front of the entrance, badges
5 that we didn't know. Their ax in the middle of the woods,
6 knocking down the doors, and with an ax and a sledgehammer they hammered;
7 They have given your sanctuary up to fire, desecrated the habitation of your name to the earth.
8 They said in their hearts: "Let us crush them at once!" They burned down every place of holy assembly in the country.
9 Our signs have ceased, there are no more prophets, and no one among us knows how long.
10 How long, O God, will blaspheme the oppressor? Will the enemy revile your name until the end?
11 Why do you withdraw your hand, hold your right hand hidden in your bosom?
12 Yet, O God, my king from the beginning, the author of salvation in the midst of the land,
13 you who by your power divided the sea, who broke the heads of monsters in the waters;
14 who smashed the heads of Leviathan to food for wild beasts,
15 you who opened the spring and the brook, you who dried up inexhaustible rivers;
16 to you by day, and to you by night, you who arranged the light and the sun,
17 You who set all the boundaries of the earth, summer and winter, you formed them.
18 Remember, Yahweh, the enemy blasphemy, a foolish people revile your name.
19 Do not deliver the soul of your turtledove, the life of your poor to the beast; do not forget it to the end.
20 Look to the covenant. They are full, the dens of the country, lairs of violence.
21 Let not the oppressed come home in shame; let the poor and the unhappy praise your name!
22 Arise, O God, plead your cause; remember the fool who blasphemes you all day long!
23 Do not forget the uproar of your adversaries, the clamor of your enemies, which always goes up!

There are 150 psalms in the Bible and they are attributed to King David. According to some beliefs, each psalm has a key, a secret, which, when used with the psalm, can solve a specific problem.
In the Koran, the Book of Psalms is called the Zabur.
Human beings are in a constant struggle on all levels against the forces of darkness, against the elements of nature and against their fellow human beings.
The psalms can be used by humans in this perpetual struggle against the forces of evil. With the psalms we can praise God, ask for the prosperity of the earth's goods, implore graces and blessings, ask for protection against enemies, defeat enemies, cure physical and spiritual illnesses, ask for help in court trials, for good luck, to ask for God's help in all circumstances, against fire, storms, storms, to have a good journey, etc.
It is important to know, as in everything we can undertake, to have FAITH. For FAITH lifts mountains. With faith, everything can succeed, whatever the obstacles.
