Psalms
Psalm 73
Psalm. From Asaph. But after all, God is good to Israel, the Lord to pure-hearted men.
A little more, my foot stumbled, a nothing, and my steps slipped,
envious that I was arrogant seeing the welfare of the ungodly.
For them there is no torment, nothing tarnishes their rich presence;
they are absent from the sorrows of men; with Adam they are not smitten.
Therefore pride is their collar, violence is the garment that covers them;
Malice comes out of their fat, artifice overflows from their hearts.
They sneer, they preach evil, loudly they preach strength;
their mouths arrogate to themselves the heavens and their tongues run smoothly on the earth.
Therefore my people come to them the waters of plenty come to them.
They say, "How can God know? In the Most High is there knowledge?"
See, they are ungodly, and always at ease, they crowd!
But why should I keep a pure heart, washing my hands in innocence?
When I was smitten all day, and had my punishment every morning,
if I had said, "I will speak like them," I would have betrayed the race of your sons.
So I reflected to understand what pain it was in my eyes!
until the day that I entered into the sanctuaries of God, that I entered into their destiny.
But after all, you have made deceptive things out of them, you have made them fall into chaos.
Ah! how suddenly they cause horror, disappeared, finished by terror!
Like a dream when you wake up, Lord, you wake up and despise their image.
As my heart grew sour and my kidneys were pierced,
me, stupid, I did not understand, I was a bully near you.
And I, who remained with you, took hold of me by my right hand;
by your counsel you will lead me, and behind the glory you will draw me.
Who then would I have in heaven? With you, I am without desire on earth.
And my flesh and my heart are consumed rock of my heart, my part, God forever!
Behold, he who departeth from thee shall perish; those who are adulterous unto thee thou cutest off.
It is good for me to draw near to God; I have placed my refuge in the Lord, so that I may tell about all your works.

There are 150 psalms in the Bible and they are attributed to King David. According to some beliefs, each psalm has a key, a secret, which, when used with the psalm, can solve a specific problem.
In the Koran, the Book of Psalms is called the Zabur.
Human beings are in a constant struggle on all levels against the forces of darkness, against the elements of nature and against their fellow human beings.
The psalms can be used by humans in this perpetual struggle against the forces of evil. With the psalms we can praise God, ask for the prosperity of the earth's goods, implore graces and blessings, ask for protection against enemies, defeat enemies, cure physical and spiritual illnesses, ask for help in court trials, for good luck, to ask for God's help in all circumstances, against fire, storms, storms, to have a good journey, etc.
It is important to know, as in everything we can undertake, to have FAITH. For FAITH lifts mountains. With faith, everything can succeed, whatever the obstacles.
