Virgin Mary Protection Resisting temptation
O Immaculate Virgin, Mother of God and our mother, kindly accept our prayer and intercede for us before the Father in Heaven.
The Church recognizes in you the New Eve, for you have been chosen by God to crush the proud head of Satan. It is for this mission that God has made you immaculate from the time of your conception and has filled you with grace more than any other creature on earth. You participate in the redemption of the world by giving us Jesus and opening our hearts to the revelation of his love.
We now beg you to intercede for us, so that God may send us St Michael and all his angels so that we may overcome every temptation, thwart the snares of the enemy and live in God's peace. Immaculate Virgin, keep Satan and evil spirits away from us and protect us from every evil influence. Do not allow evil to reach your children and sin to take them away from God.
