Saints healing physical illnessesSaint Tanche is invoked to be preserved from angina and to obtain its cure.
INVOCATION
May your blessed martyrdom obtain for us our healing, may those who suffer like me implore his assistance, so that, having been effectively relieved and helped, we may bless you and love you eternally.
We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Holy Tanche, who is so effectively invoked against angina, pray for us.
ORAISON
What humility, what abasement, O Son of God! Where has your love taken you? Where has your mercy and your goodness taken you? To what excess do your love and compassion go? I have transgressed your commandments, and for this reason you are tied to the cross. Because I have tasted the fruit of sin, you have had to drink a bitter gall: a Eve gave me an approving smile, Mary broke down in tears before you. O King of Glory, when I thus bring my malice and your mercy, my injustice and your justice before you, how clearly the one and the other are brought together! By your passion, have mercy on me. So be it.
