A star announces your third joy; this star you see stopping above your Son, as the Magi adore him and present him with the varied wealth of the earth's goods. In this offering, the star recalls unity, the three kings the trinity, gold the purity of the soul, myrrh the chastity of the senses, incense the vows of adoration. By this joy, O Mary, make us fruitful in virtue.
