Saints Protection
Threatening, anonymous or insulting letters, chains, etc.
On a parchment, Blessed Jerome, three times I write your name in red letters, three times I invoke the Holy God, three times I fold it. And now, by your miraculous power, I give it to those who threaten me.
For your name, O Saint Jerome, is sweet in the mouth, melting like myrrh; but it becomes bitter in the bowels, it is a fire that devours and gnaws. Let this scroll be the judgment that threatens and night, let it walk day and night, let bitterness strike down the Evil One at his work in the name of the Word who reigns with God the Father and the Holy Spirit.
