Saints
Saint Drogo is invoked by those who are afflicted with ruptures, inner descents and the disease of the stone. Saint Drogo always gives his assistance to those who have a special devotion for him.
Saint Drogo or Druon lived in the 12th century. Eternal pilgrim, preaching the Gospel of repentance, he drew to himself the multitude of the pious faithful, blessing and healing them, and brought back, in the sight and account of his virtues and of his miracles, souls lost in the bosom of the Church.
INVOCATION
O God, who daily give us new examples of the miraculous power which you have given to your elect on our behalf, strengthen our confidence in their intercession, so that being fully relieved from the evils that we suffer here below, we may serve you with all our heart and bless you eternally in the company of the Saints. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Drogo, our safe refuge in our cruel internal illnesses, pray without ceasing for us.
PRAYER
Happy saints, who have already passed through the waves of this mortal life, and who fearlessly enjoy your imperishable glory, have mercy on my many miseries.
Illustrious people of God, and his eternal inheritance, look down on this poor man who is making his pilgrimage in the land of exile, and may your help and your consolation come down on him from heaven.
Inhabitants of the heavenly homeland, extend your hand to this cripple; raise up this poor wretch who has fallen, so that, being cured of his weakness, he may become strong in combat.
Mighty protectors of my salvation, I cry out to you: from the bosom of the happy fatherland, pour in me a few drops of the precious wine of your love, for my strength is withered like the debris of a clay vessel, and my soul has fainted with thirst. So be it.
