Father, his joy saddened me,
I pray you, establish him in joy.
He is surrounded, admired and praised,
may he always be more surrounded, admired and praised.

Take my two hands
and make them applaud his glory
I will speak of the good he does,
I will keep silent about the evil in him that only I know.

I offer you the suffering
of this battle of my will against my evil heart.
