Psalms in the morning
Psalm 62
1 From the singing master ... Yedutûn. Psalm. From David.
2 In God alone rest for my soul, from him my salvation;
3 he alone is my rock, my salvation, my fortress, I do not stumble.
4 How long will you all run down on a man and bring him down, like a tilting wall, a crumbling fence?
5 Only deception, their projects, their pleasure is to seduce; lies in the mouth, they bless, inside they curse.
6 In God alone rest, my soul; from him comes my hope;
7 he alone is my rock, my salvation, my fortress, I do not stumble;
8 in God my salvation and my glory, the rock of my strength. In God my shelter,
9 Trust in him, people, at all times, pour out your heart before him, God is a shelter for us!
10 Only one breath, the sons of Adam, one lie, the sons of man; on the scale if they climbed together, they would be less than a breath.
11 Do not trust in violence, breathing out of breath; to riches when they increase do not attach your heart!
12 Once God has spoken, twice I have heard. This: that the strength is with God,
13 to you, Lord, love; and this: you pay a man according to his works.

There are 150 psalms in the Bible and they are attributed to King David. According to some beliefs, each psalm has a key, a secret, which, when used with the psalm, can solve a specific problem.
