SaintsSaint Lucy or Lucia of Syracuse is invoked against eye problems; it is also invoked against dysentery, blood flow and any bleeding.
INVOCATION:
O my God and Father, you who love to heal those who invoke you in their infirmities, who lead to the gates of the tomb and bring them back, deign, O my Saviour, to answer the humble prayers I address to you through the intercession of Saint Lucia; may the glory of your blessed Martyr be further enhanced by the healing we hope for from her prayers, and for the honour of your name. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Lucia, most powerful advocate for those who have lost their sight and are hemorrhaging, pray for us and save us in this affliction.
LET US PRAY:
I acknowledge, O Lord, that I am the greatest of sinners, unworthy of your graces. But deliver me by your infinite mercy, for I put all my trust in the merits of your precious Blood. So be it.
