SaintsSaint Hyacinth performed so many miracles that he was nicknamed the miracle-worker. Saint Hyacinth is one of the most popular saints and is invoked throughout the Christian world with great success. He is invoked especially against the danger of drowning. Numerous miracles proved the effectiveness of his protection.
INVOCATION:
Hear, Lord, our wishes and our prayers, and since in your infinite goodness you give us your Saints for intercessors, make us feel through Saint Hyacinth the sweet effects of your mercy; may by his prayers we be helped and comforted in all that we are suffering at this time. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Hyacinth, who have a special grace to protect against the danger of perishing in water, pray for all who call on you.
PRAYER:
How sublime is your death for us, O Jesus! for it was willfully that you sacrificed your life; you who alone have the power to leave life and take it back, because you are the master of life and death. So be it.
