Saint Yves is invoked especially to obtain healing from canker sores.
Saint Yves Helori or Helouri was born in 1253 into a noble family at the manor of Kermartin in the parish of Minihy-Tréguier in Brittany. At the age of 14, he left to study in Paris, accompanied by his tutor Jean de Kergoz, where he did his humanities by taking theology courses. Saint Yves stood out above all for his charity; he tirelessly defended the weak and the underdog. When he died in 1303, the poor escorted him.

Divine Jesus who deigned to make you man to glorify your Father and to be reconciled with Him, may heaven and earth bless and adore your great goodness. Give me a cure for canker sores, through the merits and intercession of Saint Yves. So be it.
