wedding familyIf you want to achieve and live a happy marriage according to God's will, this prayer is for you.
Prayer:
+ God, "It was you who created Adam, it was you who created Eve his wife to be his companion and support ... It was you who said, 'Let no man be left alone; let us make him a helper like himself'" (Tb 8:6).
Blessed are you, Lord, for your plan of love for man and woman. Blessed be your plan of love for me. If you call me to live the sacrament of marriage, may your plan of love for my love life be fulfilled now!
Be propitious to me and send your angel before me as You did for Isaac and Rebecca (Ge 24, 7) you who give the intelligent wife (Prov 19, 14) and the just husband who fears God like Joseph (Mt 2 , 19). Lord, you who already know my future spouse, give him the grace, according to your word, to "leave now his father and his mother and come to be attached to me so that we may become one flesh” (Gn 2:24), to fully accomplish your will. As the Archangel Raphael guided Tobias to Sarah, may my guardian angel and that of my future spouse lead us towards each other and clear our roads to marriage for the glory of your name. So united by this great sacrament, we can praise you together and celebrate your immense benevolence. Make us fruitful Lord, and give us your grace and your protection (Tb 8, 16-17).
Keep us true to You, true to one another until the end of our lives. May your mother Mary, O Lord Jesus, untie all the knots that block the realization of your love plan on our sentimental life and our marriage!
May the blood of Jesus break any bond, malefic or genealogical, that would bind us together!
Father, I trust you and surrender myself to you; I'm in your decision because you know what I need better than I do. Change my heart so that I accept your will and can taste the happiness you have promised me, through Jesus Christ your beloved Son, my Lord and my God. Amen!
