Saints baby family pregnant womanSt. Solomon was the mother of the seven stiffs. She had the pain of seeing her sons die in the worst torments for the Holy Name of God, before perishing in her turn by suffering martyrdom for having refused to deny her faith in Jesus Christ. During her ordeal, she asked and obtained from God the protection of pregnant women and mothers who would invoke her with confidence.
INVOCATION
O God, of admirable goodness, who raised Blessed Salomone to the glory of the saints, inspiring in her the heroic courage to sacrifice your martyrdom for the glory of your name and the triumph of the truth, make us share in the merits of her sufferings and grant us all the help she asked you to give to those who would have recourse to her. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Salomone, who is the faithful and devoted protector of mothers, pray for us.
ORAISON
O Lord Jesus Christ, who love harmony and peace: by your precious blood, by your holy wounds, by your passion and your death on the cross, who redeemed, reunited and reconciled with your Father all mankind, I beg you to give peace and unity to all Christian princes and to grant them your grace, so that, preserved from all strife and division, they may govern their subjects in peace, order and justice. So be it.
