SaintsSaint Felicity was Roman and had seven sons; after the death of her husband, she devoted herself entirely to God and her children, whom she brought up in the pious practices of religion.
INVOCATION :
O God, infinitely good and powerful, who, in order to multiply your adopted children, have wished to bless marriage with fruitfulness, hear our prayers and grant us, through the intercession of Saint Felicity of Rome, the son we ardently desire, so that he may be your servant and the heir of our name; we pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Felicity of Rome, we implore you with all our heart to obtain for us a son through your prayers.
PRAYER:
Blessed be the Lord God of my fathers, who now gives me joy to see the son he has granted me! I offer him to you, O my God, and I am ready to do with him whatever you command. Give him a perfect heart, that he may keep your precepts and obey you in all things. My son, have God in your mind all the days of your life, and take heed that you never consent to sin. Keep the law of the Lord, and all things will be well with you. May the Almighty God bless you; may he give you the blessing he gave to Abraham, and may all who bless you be blessed. May the Lord give you prudence and wisdom, that you may keep his commandments.
May God the Father and Jesus Christ, Son of the Father, give you grace, mercy and peace in truth and charity. I commend you to God and to the word of grace; I give you all the blessing that a father can give to his son; and I pray to the Most Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, to keep you and preserve you from all evil, especially from dying in mortal sin; so that after this life we may be together before God, and give thanks and praise to him without end in his eternal kingdom. So be it.
