to God Wellness Guide Jesus Protection Critical situationFirefighters often face great risks. They dedicate their lives to the protection of others and need our prayers because no two days are alike for a firefighter. Things happen that can take them by surprise and sometimes lead to tragedy.
We usually only think of these men and women when we need them or when someone we know needs them. The next time you hear a fire truck’s siren, say this prayer for the firefighters and thank God for them and their putting their lives on the line for us.
Prayer:
Dear God, when (name___) begins his shift, give him faith in his training and ability to do whatever job you place before him. Remind him he will face nothing today that You can’t handle for You will never leave him alone. Help him with Your strong right arm and enable him to move forward into any danger with confidence, whether he faces an out-of-control fire, an unstable structure, dense smoke, or emotionally unstable and violent people.
When he’s unsure of the next step, help him to listen for Your still, small voice and follow Your lead. Help him to make the right decision in every situation so he and his teammates, as well as those he serves, will be safe and have positive outcomes. Thank You in the name of Jesus, Amen.

To God, the being above all, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible with him. Whatever difficulties you find yourself in, trust in him, have faith. Pray to him and he will answer you.

Jesus Christ is a central figure in Christianity. He is regarded as the incarnation of God.
