O Jesus, Eternal and Sovereign Priest, keep your priests under the protection of your Heart, where no one can harm them. Keep spotless their consecrated hands, which touch your Sacred Body every day. Keep pure their lips, which drink your Precious Blood.
Keep pure and detached their hearts, which are marked with the seal of your Priesthood. Make them grow in love and faithfulness to you; protect them from contamination by the spirit of the world. Give them the power to change bread and wine, the power to change hearts. Bless their labours with abundant fruit; give them one day the crown of eternal Life. So be it.
