I confess to Almighty God,
I acknowledge before my brothers
that I have sinned in thought, in word,
by action and omission;
yes, I have truly sinned.
That is why I beg the Virgin Mary,
angels and all the saints,
and you, my brothers,
to pray to the Lord our God for me
May Almighty God have mercy on us,
may he forgive us our sins...
and lead us to eternal life.
