Protection Virgin Mary Jean Pliya
(Prayer revealed in 1863 by the Blessed Virgin to Venerable Father Cestac)
We received an original prayer from a subscriber dating back to the time of Fr. Cestac. Unfortunately, this prayer was later shortened. We finally have the exact text as it was communicated to the venerable religious. Here it is:
Augustus Queen of Heaven, Sovereign Mistress of the Angels, you who from the beginning received from God the power and the mission to crush the head of Satan, we humbly ask you, send your holy legions, so that under your orders and by your power, they may pursue the demons, fight them everywhere, repress their audacity and drive them back into the abyss.
Who is like God!
O good and tender Mother, you will always be our love and our hope.
O Divine Mother, send your Angels to defend me and drive the cruel enemy away from me.
Holy Angels and Archangels, defend us, keep us.

Pliya Jean was a Beninese man born on 21 July 1933 in Djougou (Benin) and died on 14 May 2015 in Dakar (Senegal). A geography teacher and writer, he was in charge of the J.E.C. (Jeunesse Etudiante Chrétienne) and the Catholic Action of Families) - University of Toulouse - France.
Jean Pliya represented Africa as a lay person at the 1994 Synod of Bishops of Africa and Madagascar in Rome. He was National Leader of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Benin.
