Saint Grimony is invoked to obtain the conservation of sight or to recover it.
Saint Grimony was born around the year 300; her life was short since it ended in the year 320, but was filled with the love of God. Denounced as a Christian, she was martyred with the greatest cruelty. In her hardest torments, she praised God for having the joy of suffering because of her name.
After her death, her body released a sweet perfume. Many conversions were made on this occasion. Many blind people who wanted to touch him to make sure he was real were immediately healed.
He was also invoked to obtain the healing of the styes.
INVOCATION:
O God, light of the world and father of mercies, we ask you, through the merits and intercession of Blessed Grimony, to grant us the grace to contemplate your admirable works and sing your praises in the company of the Faithful. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it. Blessed Grimony, whom we invoke so effectively to recover and preserve our sight, pray for us.
LET US PRAY:
Lord Jesus, I give you thanks for the grievous wound in your left hand, from which the fountain of all graces has flowed for us. I lay and hide in it all my spiritual and temporal evils, that together with your passion, through my patience, they may become light to me and pleasing to your heavenly Father. So be it.
