We invoke Saint Bridget for children who cannot speak and for stutterers. Saint Bridget was born in Sweden around 1300 to a royal family. She was silent until the age of three.
Out of obedience, she married and had eight children; she raised them in a Christian way, teaching them to care for the sick, to take care of the poor and to relieve miseries.

INVOCATION:
Amiable Saint Bridget, deign, on the abode of glory and happiness to which your merits have brought you, take pity on your servant who cannot make free use of the word. By your compassion towards the unfortunate, by your pity for the needy, by your great gentleness towards the sick, I beg you to look into this painful infirmity, so that through your intercession, I have the happiness of receiving the grace that I asks you. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Bridget, who spoke so sweetly, pray for us.

PRAYER:
I cry out to you, saying to you: O my Father and my Master! Be propitious to a poor sinner; lead and lead me, you my King and my God, who redeemed me with your own blood.
Lord, who cried out: “My God! My God! Why have you abandoned me? »Grant that, in my troubles and my necessities, I bow myself, Lord, before the standard of your life-giving cross, and I adore with holy respect the new and unheard-of glory of your triumph: for you are at the same time the priest and victim, the redeemer and the price of redemption.
