Psalm 82
1 Psalm. From Asaph. God stands in the divine council, in the midst of the gods he judges
2 "How long will you judge falsely, will you uphold the prestige of the ungodly?

3 Judge for the weak and the fatherless, the poor and the needy do justice;
4 Free the weak and the poor, from the hand of the wicked deliver them.
5 Without knowing, without understanding, they go through darkness, the whole foundation of the earth is shaken.
6 I said, Ye gods, sons of the Most High, all of you?
7 But no! as man you will die, as one, O princes, you will fall. "
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth, for you rule over all nations.
