Come, Lord Jesus, seek your servant,
Shepherd, seek the exhausted sheep.
Come to me when the wolves are on the prowl
seek me out because I'm looking for you.
Look for me, find me, welcome me, carry me.
You can find the one you seek,
welcome the one you find,
place on your shoulders the one you have welcomed.
A burden of piety is not a burden for you.
A just burden is not a burden for you.
Come then, Lord, to seek your sheep, come yourself.
Carry me to the cross, which saves the wandering,
restful to the weary, life-giving to the dying.
Come, and there will be salvation on earth and joy in heaven.
