Give us peace, Lord, in the days that we are living, because there is no one who fights effectively for us, except you, our God.
V /. May peace reign on your ramparts.
R /. And abundance in your fortresses.
Let us pray: O God, from whom come the holy desires, the good counsels and the works of righteousness, grant to your servants that peace which the world cannot give, so that our hearts being applied to the practice of your commandments, and our enemies no longer inspiring us with fear, we have quiet days under your protection.
Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. So be it.
