Saints healing physical illnessesSaint Yrieix is especially invoked against deformities and inflammations of the aorta. Saint Yrieix traveled through France preaching and converting. Along the way, he drew holy souls to himself. When he had too many disciples to take them with him, he founded a monastery to gather them there. His miracles attracted the inhabitants of the surrounding area to him.
INVOCATION:
Lord Jesus who loved your glorious Saint Yrieix, grant me the grace that I ask of you. Free me from all fear, from all fear since I put myself under his protection. I beseech you, Lord, through the intercession of Saint Yrieix. In the name of the Father (+), and of the Son (+), and of the Holy Spirit (+). So be it.
Saint Yrieix, to whom I confide in this dangerous disease, pray for me.
PRAYER:
Your love, your mercy and your grace have overcome you, O my God, and have made you undertake the painful work of our redemption: it is therefore right that we proclaim this benefit in your presence. If you had not been overcome, O Savior, by your mercies, you would never have offered yourselves as a victim of atonement for all sinners. Also, the soul of your servant is intoxicated, refreshed, enlightened and strengthened by your grace and love. So be it.
