Saints Saint Anne
Saint Anne, very good, ideal mother of the Virgin Mary, happy grandmother of Christ the Lord, exalted with joy by the Christian people, and sought for your holiness: I beg you to obtain for me from God the forgiveness of all the sins I have committed in my thoughts, words, deeds and omissions, so that from the depth of a renewed conscience may germinate that new life to which I aspire with all my strength. May the example of your life, O great Saint, strongly stimulate me to live in faith, hope and charity, in the Name of the Lord. With you in life, and especially in the hour of pain, I want to unite myself to God, the source and goal of all my desires. May his word be for me, as it was for you light and strength.
As I want to sing my praise to you and show you my devotion, it is with firm trust that I turn to you and invoke a protection that I will never doubt. I therefore implore your tenderness and your assistance. Saint Anne, my most tender hope, since you have never abandoned those who have placed their trust in you, please console me and obtain for me from the Most High the grace (name it) which I beg you to grant me.
Finally, Saint Anne, who is so powerful, remember in your commitment to multiply, day after day, acts of love and forgiveness to help build a new world, worthy of man and Christian, and to kindle in the hearts of our brothers and sisters the light of hope in the new earth and new heavens that God has promised us. So be it.
