INVOCATION:
My God, who allow illnesses to test your servants, look kindly on me. Through the intercession of Blessed Saint Gervasius, soften my ills, make them sanctify me with patience and full submission. Lord, I can do nothing without the help of your grace. I implore you with confidence. So be it.
Saint Gervasius, whom we invoke with confidence to obtain healing, pray for me.
PRAYER:
Jonah called to you in the whale, David in persecution, Tobias in suffering, and you heard and answered their prayers: Lord, we call on you from the bottom of the abyss, hear us, as you have heard all your faithful servants ; deliver us from sin, the father of all misfortunes that weigh on us, deliver us from all the evils that afflict us in this valley of miseries. So be it.
