The stars that shine and the forces in motion: everything disappears and loses its shine before the splendor of your light and the power of your greatness.
Only you are visible, you manifest the image of the almighty Father, and thus you make known to us the greatness of the Father and of the Son.
Like the mighty Father in the heavenly spheres,
so you, his Child, are in our universe
the First, Koryphaeus and the Lord of all power,
You are the second greatness that comes from the Father,
from the very beginning, you carry the foundations of the whole earth.
You are our model, our ordering and our guide; you are our path and the door that leads to the light.
You are the image of justice. You are always our star and our light. We give you thanks, praise and blessings.
Before you we bend our knees with confidence.
We ask you for all that is right.
Grant that we may be firmly established in our faith; that we may have the health of the body to be able to praise You.
Therefore we will sing to thee continually and in every circumstance; and we will praise thee, because thou, the Immortal, the Untiring, the Eternal, art praised on every side. You are the model and essence of the soul; you are our blessed Father, our King and our God. If we look at you, Lord, we will not die. If we confess your name, we will not be lost. If we pray to you, we will be answered. Give us back, Lord, the vigour of our original strength, deign to keep us there unceasingly and to the end. Give us the grace to be strengthened and fortified, until we reach full stature and perfect fulfilment. I praise you, Lord, for your power, for your splendour and quietness, for your light and your angels, for your envoys who rule and strengthen all living things; for all those who are born of you, who remain united to you and fulfil your will.
They are honoured, great and mighty, all those who in truth call upon thy name, and in their faith address hymns of praise to thee.
In the cloud of thy light thou art worthy of praise, thou the Immortal, the Untiring, the Eternal.
You are the model and essence of the soul, our blessed Father and our sovereign Pilot.
You advance with majesty in the luminous cloud, you sail in mystery.
You are the Father who saves, who raises, strengthens or destroys.
You manifest the luminous pattern; you purify living souls...
You are the First and the Worker of all Priceless Works, when the rays of your light descend from the heights and meet the world of our darkness, all the powers, the angels, the masters of life, the images of heaven and earth...
