Preserve us, O most loving Father, from all stain of error and corruption, be favorable to us, O our most powerful deliverer. From above, protect us in our fight against the power of darkness.
And just as you once snatched the Child Jesus at the risk of death, today defend the holy Church of God from the snares of the enemy and all adversity.
