This psalm is to be recited often by those who are tormented by fear.
Psalm 141
141.1
Psalm of David. Lord, I call on you: come quickly to me! Listen to my voice when I call on you!
141.2
May my prayer be before your face like incense, and the lifting up of my hands like the evening offering!
141.3
O LORD, keep a watch over my mouth; watch over the door of my lips.
141.4
Do not lead my heart to evil things, to sinful deeds with men who do evil, and to take no part in their feasts!
141.5
That the righteous strike me, it is a favor; Let him chastise me, it is oil on my head: My head will not be turned away; But again my prayer will rise up against their wickedness.
141.6
Let their judges be cast down to the rocks, and my words will be heard, for they are pleasing.
141.7
As when we plow and split the earth, So our bones are scattered at the entrance to hell.
141.8
It is to you, Lord, Lord! that my eyes turn, It is with you that I seek refuge: Do not abandon my soul!
141.9
Protect me from the snare they set for me, And from the snares of those who do evil!
141.10
Let the wicked fall into their nets, And let me escape at the same time!
