Jean Pliya
In your name, Lord Jesus Christ, for the glory of God our Father and by the power of the Holy Spirit, I ask you for the grace to forgive those who wish me ill or who have offended me. Of myself, I cannot truly forgive as you ask of us, for "without you we can do nothing" (Jn 15:5). On the cross, you forgave those who judged you, condemned you to death and crucified you unjustly: "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do" (Lk 23:24).
Confident in your love and in the power of your blood which has given us access to your Mercy, I have decided to forgive all those who persecute me through witchcraft or occult powers received from Satan, or those who gang up against me out of hatred or malice, hostility, jealousy, especially if they are members of my family or people close to me. I beg you, O Eternal Father, in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ to bless them in every way. I also bless them. Free them from their evil deeds for the glory of your most holy name.
Lord Jesus Christ, I beg you to forgive me my own sins against you and men, especially my sins of unbelief, idolatry, lust, complaining, disobedience, doubts, self-pity, criticism and judgement of others.
Forgive my fears, tear from my heart the complaint and worry about everything. Cast out from me every spirit of fear and discouragement. Establish me firmly in faith, assurance and trust in your protection, in your victory over the evil spirit and all those who rage against me. Free me from oppression, fear, anxiety and feelings of insecurity. I will fear no more, for I am strengthened by your justice (Is 54:14).
You are Lord, my light and my salvation, the bulwark of my life. I praise you and give you thanks with all my heart. By your heart, by your Spirit, establish your power over my whole being, you my liberator and my Saviour. Merciful Jesus, I trust in you. You are my support and my shield. "The joy of my heart is in you; my trust is in your most holy name" (Ps 33:21). Glory to you Jesus! Hallelujah!

Pliya Jean was a Beninese man born on 21 July 1933 in Djougou (Benin) and died on 14 May 2015 in Dakar (Senegal). A geography teacher and writer, he was in charge of the J.E.C. (Jeunesse Etudiante Chrétienne) and the Catholic Action of Families) - University of Toulouse - France.
Jean Pliya represented Africa as a lay person at the 1994 Synod of Bishops of Africa and Madagascar in Rome. He was National Leader of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Benin. A renowned evangelizer and preacher, Jean Pliya has worked in Senegal, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Togo, Gabon, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Switzerland, France, America, Reunion Island, French Guiana and Martinique.
Its publications in the field of spiritual warfare are reputed to be effective in view of numerous testimonies throughout the world.
