Psalms
Psalm 71
1 In you, Yahweh, I have my shelter; on me no shame forever!
2 In your righteousness defend me, deliver me, listen to me and save me.
3 Be to me a hospitable rock, always accessible; you have decided to save me, because my rock, my rampart, is you.
4 My God, deliver me from the hand of the ungodly, from the grip of the deceitful and the violent.
5 For you have been my hope, Lord Yahweh, my faith from my youth.
6 On you I have my support from the womb, you my part from the womb of my mother, in you my praise without ceasing.
7 For many I was a wonder, but you are my safe shelter.
8 My mouth is filled with your praise all day long with your splendor.
9 Do not reject me in my old age, when my strength declines; do not forsake me.
10 For my enemies speak of me, those who watch my soul consult together
11 "God forsaken him, chase him, grab him, he has no one to defend him."
12 God, do not be far from me, my God, quickly help me.
13 Shame and ruin on those who attack my soul; let insult and infamy cover them, those who seek my misfortune!
14 And I, hoping without ceasing, will add to your praise;
15 my mouth shall speak of your righteousness all day long, your salvation.
16 I will come in the power of Yahweh, to remember your only righteousness.
17 O God, you taught me from my youth, and so far I proclaim your wonders.
18 Now, old, burdened with years, O God, do not forsake me, that I proclaim your arm to the ages to come, your power
19 and thy righteousness, O God, unto the skies! You who have done great things, O God, who is like you?
20 You who have shown me so much pain and suffering, you will come back to give me life. You will come back to lift me from the depths of the earth,
21 You will feed my old age, you will come to comfort me.
22 But I will give thanks to you on the lyre; in your truth, my God, I will play on the harp for you, Holy One of Israel.
23 Let my lips rejoice when I play for you, and my soul which you have redeemed!
24 But my tongue murmurs all day long your righteousness, shame and dishonor on those who seek my calamity!

There are 150 psalms in the Bible and they are attributed to King David. According to some beliefs, each psalm has a key, a secret, which, when used with the psalm, can solve a specific problem.
In the Koran, the Book of Psalms is called the Zabur.
Human beings are in a constant struggle on all levels against the forces of darkness, against the elements of nature and against their fellow human beings.
The psalms can be used by humans in this perpetual struggle against the forces of evil. With the psalms we can praise God, ask for the prosperity of the earth's goods, implore graces and blessings, ask for protection against enemies, defeat enemies, cure physical and spiritual illnesses, ask for help in court trials, for good luck, to ask for God's help in all circumstances, against fire, storms, storms, to have a good journey, etc.
It is important to know, as in everything we can undertake, to have FAITH. For FAITH lifts mountains. With faith, everything can succeed, whatever the obstacles.
