for deceased to God Spirituality eternal life child
O my Savior! who have suffered out of love for me all the torments of the Passion, and until the most cruel death, I do not refuse, whatever it may cost me, to take part in your chalice of bitterness: I offer you my heart torn, but submissive. You had given me, in this child so dearly loved, the sweetest happiness in the world: I subscribe, as much as I know how to do in my extreme desolation, to the judgment by which you took him away from me.
Yes, my God, my Creator, the Master of all things, I strive, with your servant Job, to bless your holy Name in this trial, and to surrender myself wholeheartedly to your will, which I never want to call cruel. O my Comforter! you will not condemn the tears of a mother, you who wept over the death of a friend! Do not only suffer that a single word escapes my pain that may displease you. I withdraw in advance any complaint and even any thought that does not conform to the Christian and absolute submission that I owe you, my God! Do not let my pain be despair; that I do not indulge myself at the expense of my homework, nor that regret for what I have lost make me unfair to what remains to me. Give me the strength to always be attentive to the happiness of those around me, vigilant to hold back my imagination when sorrow leads it astray, and courageous to lift up my suffering soul. Holy Virgin, O Mother of Sorrows! I unite my suffering to yours; open to me your heart, refuge and model of desolate mothers; obtain by your prayers, O Mary! that I accept like you the sword which pierced my soul, that I remain standing at the foot of the Cross, that I live there and that I die there, submissive and resigned.

Losing a loved one is often a daunting ordeal.
If we consider death as the end of biological life, it is also a passage to the fullness of real life. Praying for a deceased person is asking that he or she may experience this passage of heavenly joy. Remember these words from Sacred Scripture: "It is a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be delivered from their sins" (2M 12:46).

To God, the being above all, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible with him. Whatever difficulties you find yourself in, trust in him, have faith. Pray to him and he will answer you.
Prayers addressed directly to God do not go through any intermediary. He receives them as they are. Some people prefer this type of prayer where they speak, in their hearts, directly to God.
God is present everywhere. Within us and without us. Even when we think we are alone, he is there. He sees us, he listens to us. He knows us better than we know ourselves.
Like a good father with his children, he is compassionate, merciful and always ready to forgive us our failings and sins.
Let us entrust ourselves to him, ask him for the grace to be a reflection of his love for mankind. Let us entrust ourselves to him and be attentive to the different signs and messages that he sends us every day, within us or outside us through our fellow human beings.
