Saints healing physical illnesses
Saint Ernier is invoked to cure asthma. Saint Ernier, sent by Saint Innocent, then Bishop of Le Mans, had settled at Ceaucé in the Orne. Where He founded a hermitage in the heart of the wooded solitudes of the Passais.
Saint Ernier, or Ernée, a 4th century hermit, attracted crowds with his piety and charity. He refused any of the spiritual assistants who were asked of him, and he wrought many miracles by his prayers and tears.
INVOCATION
God, special help in our illnesses, please grant by the merits and the intercession of Saint Ernier, that I stop suffering from this painful affection. May, helped by your pity and your infinite goodness, I become and remain in unalterable good health. So be it.
Saint Ernier, who will obtain health for the sick, pray for me, I ask you with complete confidence.
PRAYER
Adorable Jesus, my Lord and Redeemer, have mercy on me. I thank you for all the graces that I have received from you, although I am unworthy of it, I beg you to make me partake of your merits, so that being incorporated by love with you, and by imitation of your most holy life, I deserve to possess you eternally. So be it.
