Saint Anne Wellness Understanding Justice Saints
YOU ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH (Mt 5, 13) Saint Anne,
like all the grandparents on earth,
you are concerned about the happiness of your grandchildren.
You know how to welcome our joys,
guess our sorrows,
support our projects,
comfort our hearts.
Faced with the uncertainty and anguish weighing on our world,
you do not give up.
You keep them wide open to welcome us.
With you we will continue the mission of your grandson Jesus.
You remind us that our baptism makes us “salt of the earth”.
May we, like salt,
give us generously
and push back what is bland
and which threatens the values of life.
Tell us again that the future of the world passes through the path of love.
Saint Anne, bring us together,
young and old,
in a radical commitment to build a world of justice and peace.
Make us more “salt of the earth” every day.

Understanding between people is a very important element that conditions peace and cohesion. The Evil One knows this and always seeks to create divisions and conflicts. Satan knows that he has to rely on misunderstanding in his malicious aims. His main objective is therefore to destroy families. Because he knows that in the family, if there is mutual understanding between all family members, he will never succeed in any of his evil deeds. So he pits brothers and sisters against each other, children become disobedient and see their parents as enemies. Wars are created between families, neighbours, clans, countries, religions...
In order to prevent Satan, the terrible evil one before the Lord, from achieving his objectives of harm, we must seek to cultivate and perpetuate Understanding in our living environments, in our families, in our countries...
Prayer remains at the base, the only and most powerful weapon that can infuse us with the inner peace that will transform us, making each of us an instrument of peace that will spread understanding and harmony around us.

Is human justice always blind? To this question, people who have been wrongly accused and convicted despite their innocence by powerful enemies will answer with vigour, NO!
It happens that in our societies, which often reflect those who have power and where the law of the strongest reigns, people with power and/or money bring those they consider to be their enemies before the justice system, which is theirs. The latter, whose only crime is to be poor or not to have important connections like the former, are almost always convicted. In such cases, where injustice rules, the only thing left for these persecuted people is divine help.
