Psalm 33
33.1
Righteous, rejoice in the Lord! Praise befits the upright.
33.2
Praise the Lord with the harp, Praise him on the ten-stringed lute.
33.3
Sing him a new song! Play your instruments and your voices!
33.4
For the word of the LORD is right, and all his works are fulfilled in truth;
33.5
He loves justice and righteousness; The goodness of the Lord fills the earth.
33.6
The heavens were made by the word of the LORD, and all their host by the breath of his mouth.
33.7
He gathers the waters of the sea together in a heap; He lays the depths in storehouses.
33.8
Let all the earth fear the Lord! May all the inhabitants of the world tremble before him!
33.9
For he says, and it happens; He orders, and she exists.
33.10
The Lord overturns the plans of the nations; He destroys the plans of the peoples;
33.11
The plans of the Lord are endured forever, And the plans of his heart from generation to generation.
33.12
Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord! Happy are the people whom he chooses for his inheritance!
33.13
The LORD looks down from the heavens; He sees all the children of men;
33.14
From where he dwells he watches all the inhabitants of the earth,
33.15
He who forms their hearts to all, Who is attentive to all their actions.
33.16
It is not a great army that saves the king, It is not a great force that delivers the hero;
33.17
The horse is powerless to ensure salvation, And all its strength does not bring deliverance.
33.18
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love,

To snatch their souls from death And to make them live in the midst of famine.
33.20
Our soul hopes in the Lord; He is our help and our shield.
33.21
For our hearts rejoice in him, for we trust in his holy name.
33.22
Eternal! may your grace be upon us, As we hope in you!
