My God, I am that wretch who in the past despised You;
but now I esteem You and love You above all things,
and I do not want to love anything else but You.

You want me all to Yourself, and I want to be all to You.
"Speak, O Lord, Your servant is listening." (1 Kings, III, 10.)
Let me know what You expect of me; I am resolved to execute punctually.
I pray You especially to let me know in what state it pleases You that I serve You.
