Here’s a powerful prayer for protection and safety. Use it to guide you in prayer when you feel the need to ask Father to cover you under His Mighty Wings.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I thank You for Your might, control and dominion over this world and everything that lives in it. Thank You for giving us Your Word and equipping us for the constant battles that are happening in our life and around us. You said in Your Word (Ephesians 6:10-18), to put on your Full Armor so that we can stand strong against evil.
Today, in accordance to Your Word, I put on the Full Armor of God so I may be able to stand my ground and resist any attack on my mind, my life, my family and everything dear to me.
I put on the Belt of Truth to defend myself against lies, deceptions and false accusations. I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness to protect my heart from falling into temptation. I put on the Shoes of Peace that will allow me to go in the world and share the Gospel of Christ without fear and worry. I put on the Shield of Faith to cover myself and extinguish the flaming arrows of any adversary. I put on the Helmet of Salvation to safeguard my mind and my thought. I take in my hands the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Thank You, Dear Lord, for Your Armor of Protection. I am confidence that in this daily battle You are at my side fighting with me and for me. Thank You for the promise of Your Son Jesus to be with us to the very end of the world.
