Saints healing physical illnessesSaint Maure is invoked to cure urine incontinence. A virgin and martyr, she preferred the loss of her life to the loss of her virginity. She died around 860 and her body performed many miracles.
INVOCATION:
My heart has rejoiced in the Lord; my horn has been lifted up to the Lord; my mouth has been opened to my enemies, because I have rejoiced in your salvation. There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none holy like the LORD; for there is none other than thee, and there is none other rock but our God. Speak not so many proud words, neither let proud words go out of your mouth: for the LORD is the strong God that knoweth all things: it is he that weigheth the work. The bow of the mighty has been broken, and they that stumbled have been girded with strength. Those who were accustomed to be satisfied praised themselves for bread, and the hungry ceased to be hungry: for she that was barren bore seven, and she that had many sons fell into a deep sleep. The Lord is he that kills and makes alive, that brings down to the grave and brings up again. The LORD makes poor and makes rich, he brings down and lifts up. He lifts up the poor out of the dust, and brings up the needy out of the dunghill, that he may make them sit with the principal of the people; and he gives them a throne of glory for an inheritance: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he has set the habitable earth upon them.

LET US PRAY:
O my Jesus, this prayer, in which you wholly submit your will to that of your heavenly Father, gives new life to all of us. It contains sublime and magnificent lessons for all your faithful: for your confessors it is the flame of love and the glorious crown of your martyrs. O my Jesus, who could endure the storms of temptation, the hatred of your enemies, the persecutions of the world; if in the pains you wished to suffer for us, you had not cried out to your heavenly Father in the name of all your faithful: "Your will be done". "So be it.
