Saints healing physical illnessesSaint Goulven is invoked for the healing of bruises and blows to the head.
INVOCATION:
Lord, my God, give ear to my supplication and have mercy on me. In your infinite mercy and great goodness, give me the healing that I implore from You with humility. Through the intercession of your saints and particularly of Saint Goulven, I beg you to heal me.
Make crosses on the bruises, saying, at each sign of the cross: Saint Goulven, heal me.
PRAYER:
Lord, everyone is before you like that little grain that hardly tilts the scales at all, and like a drop of the morning dew that falls on the earth. But you have compassion on all men, because you can do anything and cover up their sins, so that they may do penance. For you love all that is, and hate nothing that you have made; if you had hated it, you would not have created it. Is there anything that can stand, if you don't want it, or that can be saved without your order? But you are indulgent to all, because everything is yours, O Lord, who love to save souls. So be it.
