to God Wellness spiritual warfare Guide SpiritualityWe are living in a severe warzone and continuously facing spiritual battles. It isn’t easy to find peace in the face of a spiritual warzone. We often don’t see that the biggest place that we deal with spiritual battles is our head. The Bible says, “They all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered in the wilderness” (1 Corinthians 10:3-5). There a number of satanic strongholds that hold us captive that we need to be aware of. The enemy will use these battles taking place in our heads against us and attempt to attack us daily. One of the greatest spiritual weapons we can use in these battles is prayer.
If you are Christian, you are not immune to spiritual attack. In fact, the devil sees you as his biggest target. He wants you to lose sight of God and place your trust in him. If you are not on guard, the devil can separate you from God. When we pray and put on the full armor of God, we have the power to ward off these spiritual attacks.
The enemy will attack you when you’re beginning a new spiritual journey. There is nothing satan loves more than to break down your relationship with God. He doesn’t want you to grow in faith.
When the devil knew that Jesus was about to begin His earthly ministry, he tried to vigorously attack Him. Yet, Jesus didn’t let the devil get in his way.
When we are starting our own spiritual journeys, the devil will try to distract us and sabotage your efforts. He wants you to fail and not advance God’s Kingdom. Don’t allow him to defeat you. Thankfully, God reminds us of the spiritual weapons in front of us that have incredible power.
Second Corinthians 10:4-5 says, “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” If you’re ready to stop the devil right in his tracks, pray this prayer:

Dear Lord,
I ask for Your assistance as I begin this new spiritual quest.
I ask for Your assistance in letting go of fear, old patterns, and habits that don’t serve You. Amen.

To God, the being above all, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible with him. Whatever difficulties you find yourself in, trust in him, have faith. Pray to him and he will answer you.

God is present everywhere. Within us and without us. Even when we think we are alone, he is there. He sees us, he listens to us. He knows us better than we know ourselves.
Like a good father with his children, he is compassionate, merciful and always ready to forgive us our failings and sins.
Let us entrust ourselves to him, ask him for the grace to be a reflection of his love for mankind. Let us entrust ourselves to him and be attentive to the different signs and messages that he sends us every day, within us or outside us through our fellow human beings.
